About 20,000 law enforcement officers will be on duty to ensure public order and road safety on Christmas Day. This was announced by the deputy Head of the Preventive Activities Department of the National Police Anatoliy Seredynskyi during a telethon, UNN reports .
The focus will be on religious buildings where where worship services will be held.
"Tomorrow, about 20 thousand law enforcement officers will will be ensuring law and order and road safety. The main efforts and will be directed to religious buildings where services will be held, as well as to places of mass gatherings," noted Seredynsky.
At the same time, the National Police representative called on citizens to to be conscious of the restrictions associated with martial law.
