Deep-strike units of the Special Operations Forces struck two drilling platforms of the Russian company "Lukoil" on the shelf of the Caspian Sea on the night of April 10. This was reported by the Defense Forces, who also showed unique footage, according to UNN.
SOF drones hit ice-resistant platforms at the "Graifer" field (formerly the "Rakushechnoye" field) and at the "Korchagin" field in the northern waters of the sea, approximately a thousand kilometers from the front line.
The Special Operations Forces added that the enemy uses these platforms in the fuel supply chain for its own army.
Damage to the enemy's oil and gas infrastructure significantly limits its ability to supply fuel to its troops and replenish its own budget. The SOF continues asymmetric actions to strategically exhaust the enemy in waging war against Ukraine.
