According to Aksyonov, the corresponding decrees were signed jointly with Russia-appointed "governor" of occupied Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev.
"A decision has been made to sign decrees on the introduction of a regional state of emergency in Crimea and the city of Sevastopol," he stated.
As the representative of the occupation administration claims, the decision is primarily related to the need to regulate economic issues.
"The decision was made primarily to streamline issues of an economic nature. The legal regime of a state of emergency allows for the most prompt resolution of tasks related to organizing the stable functioning of all spheres on which the life support of the population depends," Aksyonov noted.
