On Thursday, July 2, a Russian drone attacked a postal vehicle in the Sumy district. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reports UNN.

Details

According to him, this happened during the day on the road between the settlements of the Vorozhba community.

The driver and the postman were injured. They have already received assistance. Currently, their lives are not in danger

- Hryhorov said.

He noted that the enemy targeted a branded vehicle of a mobile post office — a civilian postal car, clearly visible on the road.

Such vehicles are used to deliver pensions, mail, and other necessary services to people. This vehicle was purchased with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to help regions provide basic services to community residents
