The five-day 2026 World Robotics Conference, which began on Wednesday, is taking place as the country expands its robotics industry.
On the day the conference began, the world's largest humanoid robot manufacturer, Unitree Robotics, made its debut on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The Chinese firm's machines are taking part in the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games, which began on Saturday in the country's capital. More than 2,000 robots from 16 countries are participating in the event.
