A plane carrying tourists crashed in Peru while performing a sightseeing flight over the world-famous Nazca geoglyphs. No one on board survived. This was reported by UNN with reference to Reuters.

Peru's Ministry of Transport and Communications stated in its statement that there were 11 foreign tourists on board - Germans, Italians, and Spaniards - and two crew members.

The small aircraft, a Cessna Caravan C-208 model, belonged to the local Peruvian airline Aerodiana and departed from Pisco airport at approximately 12:10 local time. At around 13:00 local time, the crew reported an emergency to the control tower of Nazca airport, after which radio contact was lost

According to local media, strong winds forced a small plane carrying two Peruvian tourists on board, and another plane with six foreign tourists on board, to divert to Marcona airport.
