Law enforcement officers detained a man in Kyiv who ordered cocaine in a baby food jar via a parcel locker, and at home stored baked goods with drugs. They seized narcotic substances worth over 3 million hryvnias, reports UNN citing the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, a 35-year-old man purchased cocaine to set up its retail distribution.
In the jar, two bricks of cocaine with a total weight of 315 g were sent to him. At "black market" prices, the cost of one gram of this narcotic is about 250 US dollars
The total value of the seized cocaine is almost 79 thousand US dollars. Also, in the apartment of the detainee, packages with mephedrone, Alpha-PVP, cannabis, MDMA, LSD, ready-for-sale jelly candies, cupcakes, and cookies containing prohibited substances were found and seized.
The detainee has been notified of suspicion of illegal acquisition and storage of narcotic drugs in particularly large quantities for the purpose of sale (Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment from 9 to 12 years with confiscation of property.
