During the past day, August 1, 234 combat engagements occurred at the front. The enemy carried out two missile strikes using 31 missiles and 91 aviation strikes, during which they dropped 298 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 11,083 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,343 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops.
The occupiers launched an aviation strike on the area of the settlement of Zelenyi Hai in Sumy region.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 15 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, one control point of unmanned aerial vehicles, and one command observation post.
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders stopped four enemy assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out four aviation strikes using 12 guided aerial bombs and conducted 61 shelling attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled 21 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Starytsia, Dihtiarne, Izbystske, and Kozacha Lopan, as well as in the directions of Volokhivka, Radkivka, and Ivashchyne.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
Attempts to break into the Ukrainian defense were repelled in the Lyman direction, where the occupiers attacked 16 times in the areas of Lyman, Dibrova, Ozerne, and Novomykhailivka, as well as in the directions of Drobysheve, Novoserhiivka, Andriivka, Shyikivka, and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy conducted 18 assault actions in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Riznykivka, as well as in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked three times in the directions of the settlements of Pryvilne and Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, 19 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ilinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as in the directions of Raiske, Rusynyi Yar, and Stepanivka.
The largest number of assault actions was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where our defenders stopped 27 attacks. The enemy showed activity in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, and Kotlyne, and also conducted assaults in the directions of Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, Kucherovyi Yar, Vilne, Novyi Shakhove, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Hulive, and Udachne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders carried out four attacks in the directions of the settlements of Myrne and Rybne.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers attacked 14 times. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Zaliznychne and Hirke, as well as in the directions of Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, and Tsvitkove.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
