As stated, on the night of April 21, 2026, the occupiers attacked the city of Sumy with, according to preliminary data, 10 drones. They hit civilian infrastructure.

Hundreds of windows were damaged in apartment buildings and educational institutions, an educational institution building was destroyed, and at least 10 vehicles were destroyed, the prosecutor's office indicated.
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, also reported that "one UAV hit the territory of a medical facility."
