"On average, border guards refuse to allow about 150-200 people to cross the border per day. This applies to men who do not have sufficient documents or cannot confirm the purpose of their trip, as defined by the rules for crossing the border," said Demchenko.

He noted that after the mandatory requirement to have a military registration document when crossing the border was introduced, most men comply with this norm.

On average, about 10-20 people are rejected per day due to the absence of a military registration document. On the first day this rule came into effect, the number of rejections due to the lack of a military registration document was almost 90

According to him, this rule does not apply to women, but only to men.
