The Dutch government has decided to start preparing the first 18 F-16 aircraft for delivery to Ukraine. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday following a conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, UNN reports.

The President said that he also thanked the Netherlands for actively supporting the opening of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU and emphasized the importance of providing Ukraine with 50 billion euros of long-term EU assistance as soon as possible.
"We discussed the events on the front line, the situation in the Black Sea, and Ukraine's current military needs, including artillery, drones, and air defense," Zelenskyy said.
"We agreed to continue joint work on security guarantees after the G7 Vilnius Declaration. We also discussed the next meeting on the Peace Formula and efforts to further consolidate international support for Ukraine's vision of a just peace," the Head of State noted.
