President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović-Buryć and Liechtenstein Foreign Minister Dominique Gasler, who are on a visit to Ukraine, UNN reports with reference to the Presidential Office.

The Head of State emphasized the importance of establishing the Register of damages caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation under the auspices of the Council of Europe and opening the relevant office in Kyiv today.
"Thank you for the significant progress towards making the Register of Losses function effectively. It is important that soon Ukrainians will be able to submit relevant applications directly in Kyiv," Zelensky said.
The parties discussed strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the Council of Europe in establishing a special tribunal to bring to justice those responsible for the crime of aggression against the Ukrainian state, in particular within the framework of the relevant Core Group, which already includes more than 40 states.
The President informed Marija Pejčinović-Buryć and Dominique Gasler on the efforts and initiatives of Ukraine on the return of Ukrainian children illegally deported by Russia. The parties agreed to intensify cooperation on the creation of the relevant international legal instrument.
