President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to a massive attack by the Russian army on the morning of November 28, pointing out that the enemy's target was the country's energy sector. He called on partners to implement agreements on timely transmission of software. this is reported by UNN.
In the morning, there were already reports from the commander of the Air Force, the ministers of internal affairs and energy on the consequences of the Russian strike. The target is our energy. In total, there are about 100 attack drones, more than 90 missiles of various types. In several regions, strikes were recorded with "calibers" with cluster munitions and specifically on civilian infrastructure. These cluster units significantly complicate the elimination of the consequences of the strike for our rescuers and power engineers, and this is a very dastardly escalation of Russian terrorist tactics
According to him, power engineers and all services are working as hard as possible to help people. "Points of invincibility"has been expanded.
"Each such attack proves that air defense systems are needed now in Ukraine, where they save lives, and not at storage bases. This is especially important in winter, when we must protect our infrastructure from targeted Russian strikes. We are constantly working with our partners to have more defense forces, and timely delivery now and full implementation of agreements, in particular on air defense, is what is most needed," Zelensky stressed.
