Details

The Head of State spoke in detail about his visit to Poland, particularly the signing of the bilateral security agreement.

The agreement between Ukraine and Poland is correct, strong, and I think it is historic. Some of the points are new, not found in other documents. Mechanisms still need to be developed, but all of this speaks to rapprochement - even greater rapprochement between neighbors

- he noted.

The President thanked the representatives of the Ukrainian community in Poland for all their efforts to help Ukraine.

I thank everyone who has been helping Ukraine, this unity between Ukraine and Poland, our military, civilians, refugees, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. All these are very important things

- the Head of State added.

In turn , representatives of the Ukrainian community told Volodymyr Zelenskyy how they support their countrymen, including the creation of volunteer networks and assistance to soldiers and their families.

In particular, Halyna Andrushkov, co-founder of the Uniters Foundation, noted that they have gathered a group of European and Ukrainian experts, engineers, and managers who design and manufacture drones for Ukraine. She asked to simplify the procedure for transferring drones across the border.

The President instructed the Minister of Defense to work on this issue.

Also, Deputy Minister of Higher Education of Poland Andrzej Sheptytsky said that after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Poland accepted about 600 Ukrainian scientists and provided them with jobs at universities.

Together with their Polish colleagues, they are developing research projects. He is convinced that this will contribute to the development of Ukrainian science and the restoration of our country.
