In the wake of Russia's largest-ever cyberattack on state registries, they are now being restored.
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine explained what notarial acts can be performed in the absence of access to the registers of the Ministry of Justice, UNN reports.

While the Ministry of Justice's registries are restored, notaries continue to provide services that do not require verification of data in these registries.
In particular, the following notarial acts are currently available:
Certification of wills, inheritance agreements and powers of attorney;
Issuance of duplicates of notarial documents kept in the notary's files;
Certification of the authenticity of copies (photocopies) of documents and extracts from them; certification of the authenticity of signatures on documents, including certification of the authenticity of signatures on the consent for the child to travel abroad unaccompanied by one of the parents;
Certification of the accuracy of translation of documents from one language into another.
In addition, a notary can open an inheritance case at the request of an heir. After the registers resume operation, notaries will enter the necessary information into the relevant registers.

Earlier, UNN wrote that Russian hackers carried out one of the largest cyberattacks on the state registers of Ukraine. The Ministry of Justice is working to restore access to critical systems, which may take up to two weeks.
