The procedure for receiving the assistance depends on the recipient’s category. Pensioners will receive the payment automatically together with their August pension, so they do not need to submit an additional application. Current military personnel will receive the funds through their military units based on applications submitted by the command.
Those who do not receive a pension and are not serving in the military must apply independently to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. An application can be submitted at a Pension Fund service center, through a CNAP, or online via the Pension Fund’s web portal using a qualified electronic signature.
If the right to the payment arose before August 24, but the funds were not received by October 1, it is possible to apply for the assistance again at a later date.
