Investigators served a notice of suspicion to a 61-year-old resident of Zhmerynka district: according to law enforcement, the man was looking for the whereabouts of young girls in relation to whom he committed sexual assault. In one of the communities of Zhmerynka district, near the local house of culture, where children were playing, the suspect got out of his VAZ-2106 car and committed lewd acts. This case was reported to the police by parents
According to the prosecutor's office, the man drove his car to a neighboring village and searched for the whereabouts of underage girls, against whom he committed sexual assault.
The children were frightened, and adults responded to their cries. But the attacker fled in a car. The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Investigation Department of the Police Department No. 2 of the Zhmerynka District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region. The defendant, if found guilty, may be punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
