Venezuela and the terrorist country have signed new agreements on cooperation in intelligence and energy. This is reported by Agence France-Presse, UNN reports.

The signing took place during the official visit of russian Deputy Prime Minister chernyshenko to the Venezuelan capital of Caracas.
russia is one of the few countries that supported the results of the recent presidential election in Venezuela, recognizing the victory of incumbent President Nicolas Maduro. Instead, the United States and a number of Latin American countries expressed support for the opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, who is considered the real winner of the vote.
The terrorist country and Venezuela deepened their partnership during the presidency of Hugo Chavez, who led the country from 1999 to 2013. Since then, even under Nicolas Maduro, relations between the two countries have remained warm, in part due to Venezuela's support for moscow's position in the war against Ukraine.
