It is noted that the indexation of tariffs in SV (luxury) cars of international trains has also been agreed upon - tickets will be sold at new tariffs starting from April 18.
These changes will apply exclusively to travel in SV (luxury) cars and 1st class Intercity trains in domestic traffic. It is fundamentally important for the country to maintain the accessibility of transportation for citizens, including the accessibility of communication with frontline communities. That is why tariffs for 2nd class tickets and in compartment and open-plan cars remain socially oriented. The state has not revised their prices since 2021
It is indicated that tariffs for travel in SV (luxury) cars of international trains will also be indexed by approximately 20%. Tickets for these cars will be sold at new tariffs for departure dates starting from April 18, 2026.
"It is the seats in the SV cars of international trains that are traditionally bought out the fastest, which indicates an increased and partially unsatisfied demand in this segment. For other types of seats (1st and 2nd class "Intercity", compartment), Ukrzaliznytsia, having analyzed the current dynamics, decided to leave the cost unchanged in international trains this season," Ukrzaliznytsia added.
