The European Men's Gymnastics Championships have reportedly ended in Rimini, Italy. On the final day of the competition, the winners in the team all-around were determined.
The Ukrainian team of Ilya Kovtun, Oleg Vernyaev, Nazar Chepurny, Igor Radivilov and Radomir Stelmakh scored 255.762 points and won the team all-around for the second time in its history
The second place went to the gymnasts from Great Britain (255.429 points), and the third to the representatives of Italy (252.560 points).
The last time the Ukrainian team climbed to the podium of the continental championship was in 2020 - then, as today, the gymnasts from Ukraine won.
As noted, Ukraine has won four medals (gold, silver, and two bronze) in the history of team all-around at the European Championships. Today's gold is the fifth.
It is reported that during the 2024 Continental Championships, Ukrainians won 6 awards: three gold, two silver (one of them was won by a junior) and one bronze.
