In general, Cyprus has deprived 77 people of "golden passports", including russian and Ukrainian businessmen and their loved ones.
The publication notes that the list of persons on whom the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Cyprus has already been made was compiled about a month ago.
The list includes intermediaries, including law and audit firms, through which documents were issued.
There is also a Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky, whose deprivation of citizenship became known earlier. Also businessman Vadim Shulman, owner of UkrLandFarming agricultural holding Oleg Bakhmatyuk, owner of Energy Standard group Konstantin Grigorishin.
Also, family members of businessmen who submitted documents with them lost their citizenship. Kolomoisky, Grigorishin and Shulman each have one person, and Bakhmatyuk has five.
According to Politis, criminal cases have already been initiated against some former owners of the "golden passports" of Cyprus, and they are being investigated by the police.
