The air defense forces of Ukraine shot down 81 out of 94 missiles and 80 out of 193 enemy attack drones launched by the Russian army from 2:00 pm on December 12 to 10:00 am on December 13, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Friday, according to UNN.

According to the Air Force, from 2:00 pm on December 12 to 10:00 am on December 13, the enemy carried out a combined air attack on Ukraine with various types of missiles and attack drones.
In total, the radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected 287 enemy air attack assets during this period - 94 missiles and 193 UAVs, namely:
- 4 aeroballistic X-47M2 "Kinzhal" missiles from MiG-31K fighters, launch area - Tambov region;
- 2 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles, launch area - Bryansk region, temporarily occupied Crimea;
- 1 KN-23 ballistic missile, launch area - Bryansk region;
- 55 X-101, X-55SM cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, launch area - Volgograd region;
- 24 "Kalibr" cruise missiles, launch area - Black Sea;
- 7 "Iskander-K" cruise missiles, launch area - Voronezh, Rostov regions;
- 1 guided air-to-surface missile X-59/X-69, launch area - airspace over the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region;
- 193 "Shahed" attack UAVs and unidentified UAVs from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo - Russia.
The air attack was repelled by air defense missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Including the effective work of F-16s, the Air Force emphasized.
As of 11:30, the confirmed destruction is: 80 X-101/X-55SM/"Kalibr"/"Iskander-K" cruise missiles; 1 "Iskander-M" ballistic missile; 80 "Shahed" attack UAVs and unidentified UAVs. In addition, 105 enemy UAVs did not reach their targets due to active countermeasures by the Defense Forces (lost in location), five returned to Russia, and one to Belarus
They also added that the enemy's missile and drone strike was again mainly aimed at Ukraine's energy facilities.
