Ukraine will allocate more than UAH 8 billion for fortification construction

Today, the Cabinet of Ministers allocates more than UAH 8 billion for the construction of fortifications. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports.

By redistributing state budget expenditures, we are currently allocating more than UAH 8 billion for the construction of fortifications. Thus, since the beginning of 2024 alone, we have allocated almost UAH 38 billion to strengthen our defense borders. We are not going to stop there," Shmyhal said.

According to him, the government's task is to create a reliable defensive rampart that will protect soldiers and give the Ukrainian army more advantages on the battlefield.
