The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has published the text of the Plan for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility program of the European Union, which provides for 69 reforms, in particular in the economic sector, judicial system, financial markets, etc.

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has published the text of the Plan for the implementation of the EU's Ukraine Facility program. The Ministry's team coordinated the overall preparation of the Plan. According to the plan, during 2024-2027, the Ministry of Economy will fulfill a total of 27 indicators, including 4 investment indicators, the report says.
According to Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, the indicators and reforms included in the plan will contribute to overall economic growth, development of the business climate and entrepreneurship culture, and will accelerate Ukraine's integration into the European Union.
The team of the Ministry of Economy will be directly responsible for changes to improve state property management, human capital and business environment development, as well as priority sectors of the economy
This year, the Ministry of Economy has to fulfill 7 indicators, including the development and approval of the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan, optimization of state property management, overall improvement of the business environment, and development of priority industries.
It is noted that the plan provides for 69 reforms in total, including 16 investment indicators. In particular, it provides for reforms in public administration, public finance management, judicial reform, and the fight against corruption and money laundering. Economic reforms are envisaged, including reforms of financial markets, state asset management, human capital, business environment, as well as decentralization and regional policy.
In addition, reforms in the energy and agri-food sectors, transportation, digital transformation, green transition, and environmental protection are envisaged.
Recall
The Ukrainian government has approved a reform plan to receive aid under a four-year EU programme worth 50bn euros. The plan has been submitted to the European Commission for further approval and full launch.
