According to the head of the MFA, difficult pages of history have existed in the relations of many European states, but they should not become an obstacle to strategic partnership. He emphasized that any escalation between Kyiv and Warsaw primarily benefits russia.
Emotions need to be set aside. Ukraine is a responsible partner, Ukraine is part of the European space. History shows that difficult pages have existed in the relations of almost every country on the European continent. But any tensions or negative trends in our relations play into Moscow's hands. That is why we are ready for an equal, honest, and mutually beneficial partnership. We need each other both on Ukraine's path to membership in the European Union and in the security sphere. Ukraine's security is also Poland's security
The minister noted that Ukraine continues to keep diplomatic channels open with the Polish side and is working on further joint solutions.
The participation of the Ukrainian delegation led by the Prime Minister in the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk also demonstrated our readiness to develop dialogue. We keep diplomatic channels open, consultations and discussions are ongoing regarding further contacts and documents. Poland was among the states that first helped Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion, and we count on its active participation in the reconstruction of our state. That is why it is necessary to use the entire diplomatic toolkit to stabilize relations and reduce tensions where they exist
