This year, Ukraine has already received $16 billion in external financing to the state budget, and another $22 billion is expected by the end of the year. This was reported on Friday by the Ministry of Finance following a meeting to coordinate efforts to work with international partners within the framework of the Multilateral Donor Coordination Platform, UNN reports.

During the meeting, Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko outlined the current tasks for the Ukrainian side within the Platform.
"In the year and a half of the Platform's functioning, we have already achieved significant results, in particular in attracting the necessary budgetary aid in 2023 (USD 42.5 billion) and assurances of continued aid in 2024," the Minister of Finance said.
Among the topics discussed:
- Continued work with donors to meet of the budgetary needs in 2024-2025. Maintaining transparent and accountable cooperation with donors. The government, as indicated, regularly provides all information on the use of donor funds in Ukraine.
- Prepare a unified list of early recovery projects , prioritize them to effectively attract donor support.
- Continuing to implement the reform of public investment management in cooperation with international partners, including within the framework of the Platform. The reform provides for a clear definition and strategic planning of public investments in the medium term and their maximum integration into the budget process.
- Systemic update of the Reforms Matrix in coordination with other ministries and central executive authorities. "The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine will soon present updated results for the first half of 2024," the Ministry of Finance said.
- Work with donors within the Platform to strengthen support for the private sector, including through guarantees, risk insurance, and export credit.
