Ukraine has a shortage of missiles not only for Patriot systems, but also for other systems, including aircraft. This was stated by Yurii Ihnat, head of the Communications Directorate of the Ukrainian Air Force, on the air of the national telethon, reports UNN.
"A 100% interception rate, when everything is flying toward one region, is unfortunately impossible. This is not only Ukrainian experience—we have also seen it in the Middle East. In addition, having such an arsenal of missiles… I mean an insufficient one. There is a shortage of missiles for Patriot systems. Even surface-to-air missiles, or missiles for aviation platforms… I mean aircraft, also remain a problematic issue for us today
He noted that Ukraine is counting on the delivery of new missiles, especially ahead of the autumn-winter period.
