In the Kyiv region, the weather caused damage to the grid, and emergency blackouts were introduced, UNN reports with reference to DTEK.
"The storm caused emergency power outages in Kyiv region. Bucha and Vyshhorod districts suffered the most from the storm.
DTEK power engineers are already eliminating the consequences of the accidents on the ground... We will work until the power is restored to all homes in the region," the statement said.
