Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a telephone conversation with National Security Advisor to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President, UNN reports.

Andriy Yermak briefed Jake Sullivan on the situation on the battlefield and the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In particular, he spoke about a recent trip with President Volodymyr Zelensky to the frontline regions: Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv.

He also spoke about visiting the frontline positions of Ukrainian defenders who are repelling the Russian aggressor. According to him, during the meeting with the Head of State, the soldiers conveyed specific requests for weapons and ammunition necessary to protect Ukrainian lands from the occupiers.

The interlocutors also discussed preparations for the first Ukrainian-American arms production conference to be held on December 6-7 in Washington, D.C., in pursuance of the agreements between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joseph Biden.
