Today at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (10:00 p.m. Kyiv time - ed.), forces of the U.S. Central Command began an additional round of strikes on Iran to further degrade Iranian capabilities used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz
The statement also noted that the strikes are taking place as American troops prepare to reinstate a naval blockade of Iranian ports and coastal areas. The blockade takes effect at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (11:00 p.m. Kyiv time).
