The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection confirmed massive failures on the morning of July 19 in a number of organizations in Ukraine and around the world with the launch of computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system with CrowdStrike Falcon software. The affected organizations in Ukraine "have already fully or partially resumed their work," the State Special Communications Service reported, according to UNN.

"In the morning of July 19, a number of organizations in Ukraine and around the world faced a problem starting computers running on the Microsoft Windows operating system and using CrowdStrike Falcon software. Organizations in Ukraine affected by this problem have already fully or partially resumed their work," the service said.
Experts of the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine advise to use CrowdStrike instructions to quickly solve this problem:
- Boot Windows in Safe Mode or Windows Recovery Environment
- Go to the directory C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike
- Find the file named “C-00000291*.sys” and delete it
- Restart your computer or server
"We recommend using this method while CrowdStrike is working to fix the problem and will not provide official information," the agency said.
The State Service of Special Communications is reportedly ready to provide advisory and practical assistance in solving the problem.

A global IT outage has occurred worldwide, related to the interaction between Crowdstrike antivirus and Windows.
An extremely large-scale cascade of outages from the United States to Asia occurred after Microsoft reported a failure in its online services, in particular, its Azure and 365 online services. Windows computers running CrowdStrike software were reported to be experiencing problems.
The disruptions disrupted the operations of airlines, banks, and financial services companies.
In Ukraine, there were outages at Vodafone mobile operator, and problems with Sense Bank, Monobank, and Nova Poshta were reported, among others.
