Zelensky signed a law on obtaining a кредиту 50 billion loan from the G7. The funds do not need to be returned without reparations from the Russian Federation, and the return will be made at the expense of frozen Russian assets.

Head of state Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on the conditions for Ukraine to receive a кредиту 50 billion loan from the group of seven countries. According to the document, the loan will not need to be repaid if Ukraine does not receive reparations from the Russian Federation. About it UNN reports with reference to card of the law.

Details

The bill provides that the powers of the debt agency of Ukraine will be exercised by the Ministry of Finance, which will allow obtaining a loan of 5 50 billion from the G7.

The document also stipulates that the refund of funds  will be made not at the expense of the state budget, but in particular at the expense of frozen assets of the Russian Federation.

 in October, the G7 leaders agreed to provide Ukraine with 5 50 billion in loans through an emergency revenue acceleration mechanism. The funds will be serviced at the expense of immobilized Russian assets.   

On December 3, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on the conditions for receiving 5 50 billion.
