On Tuesday, August 20, the public discussion of the draft order “On Approval of the Anti-Corruption Program of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for 2024-2026” started . This was stated by the Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.
Details
The agency explains that the program should help prevent, detect and combat corruption, ensure compliance with integrity standards and fulfill the requirements of anti-corruption legislation.
The project was developed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption” and takes into account the Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2021-2025.

The key objectives of the program are to create a culture of zero tolerance for corruption, ensure transparency and accountability in the Ministry's activities, and support international cooperation in the fight against corruption. It also includes the implementation of international standards, cooperation with civil society organizations, and raising public awareness of anti-corruption initiatives.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense is committed to ensuring the implementation of anti-corruption measures at all levels. Responsibility for monitoring the program's implementation is vested in the authorized unit for the prevention and detection of corruption, which will regularly report on the progress and effectiveness of the measures taken.
The draft order is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Comments and suggestions are accepted within 12 working days from the date of publication of the announcement to the e-mail address of the Department for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: dzvk_mou@post.mil.gov.ua.
