As of today, the Russians do not have the forces and means to conduct a second offensive in the north of Kharkiv region. This was stated by Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Kovalev, head of the Border Guard Service Department of the Gart Brigade, during a telethon, UNN reports .
Kovalyov commented on whether a repeat Russian offensive from the north in Kharkiv region is currently possible.
As of today, assessing the enemy's available forces and means, we can conclude that they are not enough to conduct a large-scale offensive. At the same time, the Russian occupiers do not reduce pressure in this direction, and do not abandon their attempts to create a so-called buffer zone in the Kharkiv region
According to him, the enemy is conducting constant rotations due to heavy losses in manpower, trying to bring new units to the area from the reserve and other areas.
"We cannot relax," Kovalev said.
When asked if there was a threat of a repeat offensive, particularly in the north of Kharkiv region, Kovalev replied: "No, I repeat once again that as of today, we do not see the enemy's available forces and means to carry out such actions.
