BBC Ukraine has announced the winners of the 20th anniversary BBC Book of the Year 2024 literary award, reports UNN with reference to BBC Ukraine.

The BBC Book of the Year 2024 was My Women, a collection of short fiction by Yulia Ilyukha published by Bilka.
In the Essay category, Yuriy Roketsky won with his biographical novel All Clear! Serhiy Kuzminsky and The Brothers Gadyukin by Nash Format Publishing House.
The winner in the Children's Book of the Year nomination is the collection of fairy tales by Hrasia Oliyko, And This Is Not Fiction, published by A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA Publishing House.
The award ceremony took place at the Sense bookstore and coffee shop in Kyiv.

The competition is held in partnership with the Cultural Program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
This year, the jury selected the finalists among 40 publications.
The winner in each category receives a prize of £1,000 in UAH. And the publishers of the winning books will be able to use the BBC Book of the Year logo on future editions.
