The losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine over the past day amount to 1,240 servicemen, as well as 539 pieces of weapons and military equipment. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

The total combat losses of Russia from February 24, 2022, to August 22, 2026, amount to approximately 1,475,270 servicemen. Over the past day, Ukrainian forces also destroyed 6 Russian tanks, 6 armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, 2 multiple-launch rocket systems, and 3 air defense systems.
In addition, the Russian army lost 11 ground robotic systems, 1,792 operational-tactical UAVs, 435 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 6 pieces of special equipment.
The total losses of Russian forces in equipment since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amount to 12,292 tanks, 25,176 armored combat vehicles, 48,382 artillery systems, 2,054 multiple-launch rocket systems, and 1,584 air defense systems.
Russia has also lost 439 aircraft, 354 helicopters, 474,641 operational-tactical UAVs, 5,049 cruise missiles, 35 ships and boats, 2 submarines, 137,804 vehicles and fuel tanks, as well as 4,565 pieces of special equipment.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that data on the losses of Russian troops are being уточined.
