Charlie Weimers, a Swedish MEP and vice president of the European Conservatives and Reformists, believes that Sweden should consider leaving the EU if the transfer of power to Brussels goes "too far". This was reported by Euractiv, according to UNN.

He emphasized that he is not ready to advocate for Sweden's immediate withdrawal from the EU, but leaves open the possibility of leaving if circumstances change. For example, if the veto in the European Council is abolished and excessive powers are transferred to Brussels.
"Then I call for an immediate Swexit," Weimers said.
However, the MEP acknowledges that the overwhelming majority in Sweden still supports the country's membership in the EU.
According to Weimers, only one in ten people wants to leave, so "out of respect for people's opinions, the Sweden Democrats are not in favor of leaving," he said.
