According to the newspaper, Ksenia Karelin, a 33-year-old native of the Sverdlovsk region, who lived in Los Angeles and was a ballet dancer, was convicted of treason in Russia.

“After the war in Ukraine began, she transferred about $50 from her American account to the Ukrainian foundation Razom for Ukraine. In February 2024, she was detained in Yekaterinburg, where she had come to visit her relatives. The girl was accused of treason. The case was considered behind closed doors,” the publication writes.
