Starting tomorrow, January 31, 2026, Ukrainians will begin to receive the first invitations to the "Health Screening 40+" program, UNN reports with reference to the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU).
Who and when will receive an invitation in "Diia"
The first notifications will be received by citizens aged 40 and over who were born on January 1. Further invitations will be sent on a "after birthday" basis.
Why start with those born on January 1
The program mechanics are as follows: invitations are sent 30 days after the birthday.
How it works in reality
If you are 40+ and were born on January 2, a notification in the "Diia" application will arrive on February 1.
How to join the program
To participate, you need to:
- accept the invitation in "Diia";
- submit an application for funds.
If you don't have "Diia", the algorithm is different: you need to contact a partner bank and open a card with a special account, and then submit an application through the ASC. Important: the application is submitted no earlier than 30 days after your birthday.
How much money is provided and what it can be spent on
After submitting the application, UAH 2000 is credited. The money should arrive within 7 days after submitting the application. After receiving the payment, the person registers for screening at a medical institution participating in the program.
It is worth remembering that these are targeted funds: they can be used exclusively to pay for health screening services. Payment is made immediately for the full amount at a medical institution participating in the program, on the day of the visit.
How much time is there to use the money
The term of use depends on the month of birth in 2026:
- if the birthday falls in January–September 2026, the funds can be used until December 17, 2026;
- if the birthday falls in October–December 2026, the funds can be used until March 31, 2027.
If the service is not used, the funds will automatically return to the state budget, and the screening can be repeated next year.

More than 800 medical institutions throughout Ukraine are already ready to provide the "Health Screening 40+" service.
