Scammers send fake messages to Ukrainians allegedly on behalf of monobank - GPA

Ukrainians began to receive messages from scammers posing as the support service monobank. The Center for Countering Disinformation warns about this, writes UNN.

Details 

It is noted that attackers warn users about the alleged  restrictions on the "accumulation bank". In addition, the message notes that to lift these restrictions, customers must answer a call from the bank's employees.

The center urges you not to pick up the phone or share your data with third parties in any case. Masquerading as the bank's official chatbot, fraudsters try to obtain customer data for further illegal actions in order to seize funds

The Center emphasizes that the official chatbot is verified by The Telegram messenger and does not use any emojis.

The Center for Countering Disinformation also added that if you still become a victim of fraudsters, contact the cyber police or other competent authorities.
