Russian troops attacked Kharkiv from the air at night, according to preliminary data, with two D-30 UMPBs, damaging civilian objects, the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office said on Monday and showed photos, UNN reports.

According to the investigation, on March 31, at about 22:15, the Russian armed forces shelled Kharkiv.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, windows were reportedly smashed in high-rise buildings and cars were damaged.
"According to preliminary data, the occupiers struck the city with two UMPB D-30 (unified interspecies planning munition, 30 cm caliber). This type of ammunition is fired from an airplane," the prosecutor's office said.
A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.
