Russian forces shelled Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region with artillery today, killing two people and wounding one. Over the past 24 hours, 10 attacks on localities were recorded in the region. According to the prosecutor's office, on March 30, the Russian army shelled the town of Krasnohorivka with artillery. The epicenter of the damage was the private sector with dense residential buildings.
"A 73-year-old man who was in one of the houses was killed during the enemy attack. His 50-year-old daughter, who was injured in the yard, was taken to a medical facility. The hospital diagnosed the victim with mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. On another street, a 70-year-old woman became a victim of the Russian army - she died in her own home," the prosecutor's office said.
Among the damaged objects in the city, according to the report, are residential buildings and outbuildings.
According to the head of the RMA, over the past day, Russians fired 10 times at localities in Donetsk region.
The Donetsk regional police clarified that 6 settlements were under attack: the towns of Krasnohorivka, Lyman, the village of Hostrye, and the villages of Karlivka, Maksymilianivka, and Ostrovske. In total, police recorded 1484 hostile attacks in the region over the past day.
"23 civilian objects were damaged - 20 residential buildings, a school, and critical infrastructure," the police said.
In particular, according to law enforcement officials:
▪️ Maksymilianivka was shelled by the occupants with cannon artillery - a 75-year-old woman was killed and a private house was damaged.
▪️ The enemy struck Karlivka with a KAB-250 guided missile, damaging 12 houses and a power line.
▪️ Russia dropped a KAB-500 on Krasnohorivka - 6 private houses were destroyed.
"In addition, on the night of March 30, Russian troops attacked Selidove with two S-300 missiles. 15 private houses and two civilian cars were damaged. Two more S-300 missiles hit the residential sector of Novohrodivka. In both cases, there were no reports of casualties," the police said.
