Today's meeting in the Ramstein format is expected to formalize aid packages from the United States, Britain and Germany, as well as focus on the work of coalitions. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Yehor Chernev during a telethon, UNN reports.
I think that it will formalize what our partners have already said, including the package from the United States and the package from the UK and Germany, which were announced recently. And, in principle, more specifics on the direction. Because now, in the Ramstein format, we will focus on the work of coalitions that have been created over the past year
According to him, we are talking about eight coalitions - from the armored to the drone coalition. "The formalization of such coalitions, I think, will be more effective in order to receive timely assistance, and there are certain logistical ways," he said.
"We definitely have shells, air defense systems and missiles for them, armored vehicles and long-range missiles on our agenda. The very ATACMS we have been asking for for so long. And I think that this 300-kilometer ATACMS should also be in the next packages, but because of this delay, particularly in the United States with the allocation of the aid package, we have seen the results at the front. This is the loss of territory, it's just a meager amount of ammunition per day, which led to the deaths of our defenders, including our female defenders. But now it seems that somehow the flywheel has turned, and the UK is announcing the largest aid package for the entire period of the full-scale war, the United States is announcing a billion dollars," Chernev said.
