Latvia approved a new military aid package for Ukraine this month, which will include ammunition and weapons. This was stated by Latvian Prime Minister Eika Silina during a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports .

Latvia's support for Ukraine has already reached 85 million euros, and the total military support will reach 372 million euros. And as we have already agreed, this will be 0.25% of our GDP, and this is a good example for other countries to consider allocating such an amount to support Ukraine. The Latvian government has approved a new package of comprehensive assistance to Ukraine in 2024, with €5.3 million earmarked for Ukraine's reconstruction and €4.3 million to support the Armed Forces through the European Peace Fund.
