The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is working on resolutions on the release of Ukrainian military and civilians from Russian captivity. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on integration of Ukraine with the EU, head of the Ukrainian delegation to pace Maria Mezentseva-Fedorenko, according to the website of the Verkhovna Rada, writes UNN.

She noted that pace has registered a resolution on the release of prisoners of war citizens of Ukraine. At the same time, a text is being prepared on the release of civilian hostages.
We have clear goals and objectives – the release of civilian and military Ukrainians who have been illegally held in Russian prisons since 2014. Pace has already registered a resolution on the release of prisoners of war. A text on civilians in captivity will also be ready in the near future,
The head of the Ukrainian delegation to pace also added that at the same time, work continues on the implementation of the peace formula points and preparations for the second Peace Summit.
