At night, on April 22, Russian occupants attacked Ukraine using 7 Shahed drones. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 5 enemy attack drones. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports.

It is noted that on the night of April 22, the enemy attacked:
- 7 Shahed strike UAVs from Cape Chauda in Crimea
- three S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk region.
As a result of combat operations last night, units of mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 5 attack UAVs, and around 7:00 am, an Orlan-10 operational-tactical UAV was destroyed.
All drones were shot down in Odesa region.
According to the Southern Defense Forces, there were also hits in Odesa region.
Enemy kamikaze drones hit the territory of the farm. Warehouse buildings and agricultural machinery were damaged. No people were injured.
