According to the armed forces of Ukraine, on the night of November 27 (from 19.30 on November 26), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 89 Shahed attack UAVs and unidentified drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems and mobile Fire groups of the air and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack.
As of 09.00, the air defense system shot down 36 enemy drones in the Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnitsky and Mykolaiv regions. 48 UAVs - locally lost, presumably due to active counteraction by electronic warfare of the Defense Forces, 5 drones left the controlled airspace in the direction of Belarus, Russia and temporarily occupied territories
Due to the fall of the wreckage of enemy UAVs, as indicated, private and apartment buildings, property of citizens in the Kiev region were damaged. Previously - no casualties.
