As of now, there are no grounds to dramatize the situation with the presence of North Korean troops in the Kursk region. They were being prepared to enter the battle as infantry in Russian units solely for the sake of numbers. Kovalenko noted that the Koreans were brought to the line where the Russians were conducting assault operations.
"There are a lot of rumors now about 'Koreans who do not end'. They do run out, even very much, like everyone else," wrote the head of the National Security and Defense Council's Central Intelligence Center.
He added that more accurate information about their possible participation in the fighting would be available later.
