An accident involving a minibus in Ivano-Frankivsk region has injured 13 people, three of them in serious condition. The regional police reported the details of the incident, UNN reports.
The accident occurred on December 22, around 14:30. A Jaguar collided with a Renault Trafik minibus.
"The police have already established that the 19-year-old driver of the Jaguar, a resident of Lviv region, was overtaking an oncoming vehicle, did not make sure that the maneuver was safe and violated the traffic rules - she crossed the solid line of road markings. As a result, she drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a minibus driven by a 25-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region," the police said in a statement.
As a result of the accident, drivers and passengers of both vehicles were injured. A total of 13 people were taken to medical institutions, including one minor. Three people are currently in serious condition.
The issue of registering the information in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2 Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being decided.

The accident was reported by Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk RMA. According to her, the injured child was sent to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Hospital.
