According to the Kyiv joint hydrometeorological station, the average monthly air temperature in May was 16.3°C, which is 0.5°C above the climatic norm. Three temperature records were recorded during the month.
The coldest day was May 1, when the minimum temperature dropped to 4.2°C towards morning.
The warmest day was the 6th, when the maximum temperature rose to 29.9°C, thus setting a temperature record.
Precipitation on Nauky Avenue amounted to 56 mm, which is 86% of the monthly norm.
